Connecting to your Dropbox (cloud) Account
I work remotely by accessing a designated Cloud Space (Dropbox) for the exchange of documents and files. This space is completely secured and only accessible to you and I.
I work either through your online QuickBooks account (you will need to setup an additional user to your account) or by exchanging a copy of your QuickBooks Desktop Pro Company File through Dropbox.
Sending Documentation
In order to carry out a Bookkeeping Service, I will require access to specific documents such as Vendor / Purchase Invoices, Client invoices, Credit Card/Debit Card Receipts, Bank/Credit Card Statements, etc. It is important to send your documents in a timely manner. You may proceed by:
- copying files in your Cloud Space
- bulk scanning and emailing me
- sending via mail {priority delivery is recommended) - USPS, UPS, FedEx
Online Digital Filing
After process, all your documentation will be saved methodically into your Cloud space for easy retrieval, filing and/or archiving. You then decide if you wish all/ any hardcopies returned or request their appropriate shredding.
Communication
Virtual bookkeeping doesn't mean lack of communication. I understand the importance for my Clients to know and follow exactly what is happening with their accounts. It is up to you to decide if you wish to communicate (or not) and how often. You will get regular updates via e-mail and will always have the possibility to contact me via e-mail or mobile phone. You can also to track my progress through a “dashboard” spreadsheet exclusively designed for this purpose.
Depending on your location, monthly or weekly meetings can be arranged. Evidently, you can always access to your secured Cloud Space wherever you are.
